
French student Margaux recently watched “Dead to Rights”, a film depicting the Nanjing Massacre during World War II, which she recalled her visit to the Memorial Hall of the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders. The Nanjing Massacre had previously been merely an abstract term for her until she stepped into the site and confronted its history up close. She has also become a Zijin grass international volunteer, through which she shares her reflections with others and advocates for peace in her own way.
